This half-day symposium features presentations by renowned scholars of American Art. Artist Deborah Butterfield will present an engaging talk on her own work and artist James Luna will be in conversation with Dr. Michael Hatt, Professor in the History of Art at the University of Warwick, England. Other speakers include Dr. Patricia Kelly, Associate Professor of Critical Studies at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada; Dr. Derrick Cartwright, Visiting Professor in Art History at the University of San Diego.
