Please join us for an elegant evening of art, wine, cuisine and conversation in the "jewel box of art". Gather with friends and journey inside the world of the Renaissance and Baroque eras with renowed art historian John Marciari. Guests will enjoy a gourmet meal and wine pairing curated by nationally recognized Pamplemousse Grille, followed by a lively conversation between Timken Director of Curatorial Affairs, Derrick R. Cartwright and John Marciari. A former San Diego resident, Marciari is the Charles W. Engelhard Curator and Head of the Department of Drawings and Prints at The Morgan  Library & Museum in New York City. He is the author of "Art of Renaissance Rome: Artists and Patrons in the Eternal City" and a recognized expert in Italian and Spanish art of the Renaissance and Baroque eras.
