Embark on an acoustic journey with Nuvi Mehta and the Soleil Quartet during the Timken Music & Masters series. Accompanied by our fall Exhibition Rococo Rival and Revivals, relax in cabaret seating with wine and nibbles, while Nuvi discusses the musical history of the Rococo period, referencing the Commedia dell’arte, Mozart and his antecedents. This fascinating lecture will be followed by an enchanting concert featuring Mehta and the Soleil Quartet performing Mozart’s String Quartet No. 16 in E-flat major, K. 428/421b and other pieces.

About the Artist:  Nuvi Mehta, a graduate of The Juilliard School and Indiana University, is the San Diego Symphony's pre-concert lecturer, multi-media presenter and community outreach resource, and widely considered one of the finest speakers on classical music. He has a gift for capturing hearts and minds, and his talents have led him to conducting appearances around the world.
