Join us for a day trip to Los Angeles to explore modern architecture with Steve Hoard, Project Manager, Gensler. The first stop will be the Eames House, also known as Case Study House No. 8, a landmark of mid-20th century modern architecture located in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles.  Next, be treated to a prix fixe menu lunch at Farmshop in Santa Monica.  Enjoy an innovate menu created by farmers market driven ingredients.  The day will conclude at LACMA with a private tour of Found in Translation: Design in California and Mexico, 1915–1985, a groundbreaking exhibition about design dialogues between California and Mexico.

Trip Includes: Round-trip luxury coach transportation, breakfast, lunch, private tours, and a dinner with wine for the ride home.

Ticket Policy: All tickets are non-refundable 14 days prior to event with an option of transferring for a $10 fee.  Tickets are non-transferable 7 days before event.  


Itinerary
7:30 AM - Depart Lomas Santa Fe Plaza, enjoy breakfast from Einstein Bagels
10:30 AM - Private Tour of the exterior of the Eames House
12:00 PM - Hosted lunch at Farmshop in Santa Monica
2:30 PM - Private tour of LACMA’s exhibition Found in Translation: Design in California and Mexico, 1915–1985
3:45 PM - Depart for San Diego, relax with dinner and wine on the ride home. Return to Lomas Santa Fe Plaza at 7:00 pm
