Teacher Workshops

Learn about the Timken and the many ways art can connect to your teaching. Led by the Education Department staff, Teacher Workshops are designed to acquaint K-12 teachers with the museum’s resources.  

Participants will receive free bus transportation to the Timken for their classrooms.

Join us for an open house to discover new ways the Timken can support your teaching! This program features gallery tours and conversations as well as other activities that show K-5 teachers how the visual arts can be used to support learning in a variety of subject areas in alignment with the Common Core Standards.
