Free Virtual Talk | The Iconography of Moses

Image for Free Virtual Talk | The Iconography of Moses

The story of Moses, through the lenses of art history and theology.

The figure of Moses, prophet and law-giver, towers over the great monotheistic religious traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Through the century artists have widely portrayed him in paintings and sculpture. This special online lecture will survey both artistic and biblical perceptions of Moses and discuss those events in his life that have been most intriguing.
