Join us for our first-ever scheduled trip to the Laguna Art Museum and the Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University including the exhibition California Watercolor Society: The First Fifty Years (1921-1971).
The day will begin at the Hilbert Museum ― the highest rated art museum in Orange County (according to Yelp and LA Times Best of the Southland). Founded by Mark and Janet Hilbert and open to the public since 2016, the Museum exhibits California art and showcases a significant repository of oils, watercolors, and drawings of the 20th century by California artists. Mark Hilbert will welcome you to the Museum and you will be treated to a special viewing of California Watercolor Society ― an exhibition that showcases watercolors by outstanding artists who were members of the California Watercolor Society between 1921 and 1971. Afterwards, you will enjoy lunch on your own while exploring the quaint shops and galleries of Laguna Beach. Next, you will head to the Laguna Art Museum where you will be greeted by its new Executive Director and receive a private docent-guided tour of a wide variety of works that were created by California artists.
Trip includes round-trip luxury coach transportation, light breakfast, private tour and a gourmet snack with wine for the ride home.
Tickets: $140 Members / $165 Non-Members
