The Timken Museum of Art next Thursday will host “Anne Frank — A History for Today,” a one-day exhibition that’s touring the United States. The traveling multi-panel exhibition is presented by Anne Frank House of Amsterdam and the Consulate General of the Netherlands in San Francisco. From the organizers: “The exhibition tells the history of the Holocaust and World War II from the perspective of Anne Frank and her family. It is a story of discrimination and exclusion but also of hope and determination. The themes emphasized in the exhibition are inclusion, mutual respect, human rights and democracy.” Several San Diego middle and high school students have been trained to serve as docents and will guide fellow students and other visitors through the exhibition.
