Celebrate the beauty and abundance of the season with a morning of floral design at the Timken. Inspired by the rich colors, textures, and graceful compositions found in the Museum’s collection, this hands-on workshop invites participants to create an elegant autumn arrangement using a thoughtfully selected palette of seasonal flowers and foliage.

Under the guidance of a professional floral designer, participants will explore the principles of balance, color, form, and movement that unite the traditions of painting and floral design. Each guest will create a distinctive arrangement to take home. No prior floral design experience is necessary. Workshop fee includes all materials, tools, and light refreshments.

About the Artist:

Anne Latham is a floral designer, photographer, ceramicist, garden designer, and artist. As the principal designer of Three Swords Floral Co., she leads an exceptional team of designers, traveling around California and Hawai'i to craft floral experiences for private estates, destination weddings, and discreet brand activations.

Anne has been flowering since 2015, following her formal training as a bookbinder and lithographer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her Midwestern roots and background as an artist, studio assistant, and time spent in the hospitality industry continue to inform her refined, grounded, and deeply personal approach to floral design.
