Timken Travel Day: Camille Claudel at the J. Paul Getty Museum

Image for Timken Travel Day: Camille Claudel at the J. Paul Getty Museum

Don't miss this rare opportunity to explore the first comprehensive North American exhibition focused solely on the work of Camille Claudel - one of the most important sculptors of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. While she was among the most daring and visionary French artists of the time, Claudel’s work has largely been characterized by her tumultuous life—her relationship with sculptor Auguste Rodin and the disruption of her career as she spent the last 30 years of her life in a psychiatric facility. This rare retrospective will include nearly 60 sculptures that demonstrate the broad range of genres, formats, and materials of this underrecognized artist.

We take the stress out of travel. The trip includes round-trip luxury coach transportation, light breakfast, a private tour of the exhibition, and a dinner box with wine for the ride home.

Tickets: $175 Members / $195 Non-Members
