Michael Collins
Board Member
Michael is Founder and Portfolio Manager at GROW Funds LLC in San Diego. His career has spanned across 50 years as account executive, director, partner, and managing director in multiple investment banks and registered investment advisors, including his role as President and Co-Founder of San Diego Securities, Inc. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and served two years as First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Intelligence Corps. Michael has previously served on the Board of Governors for National Association of Securities Dealers and the Board of NeuroSciences Research Foundation, as well as President Board for the San Diego Museum of Natural History and Director of the Investment Committee at the Mingei Museum, Rancho Santa Fe Foundation, Sharp HealthCare, and San Diego Public Library Foundation. Currently, Michael is associated with Investment Management and Research and serves on the Board of the Thomas C. Ackerman Foundation and Timken Museum of Art.
