In this two-hour workshop, you'll explore the timeless craft of block printing—an art form that embraces imperfection and invites creativity through fresh perspectives and personal expression.
With Nina’s expert guidance, you’ll learn to design, carve, and print your own unique patterns, transforming simple materials into beautiful, functional art. All materials are provided, including everything you need to create a custom tote bag or notecard set. Enjoy mimosas and light refreshments as you create, connect, and discover the joy of printmaking in a stunning museum setting.
About the Artist: Nina Lubarksy is an artist and graphic designer based in Oceanside, but she can be found in various places throughout the year exploring nature and experiencing diverse cultures. As someone who has struggled with perfectionism, Nina is inspired by the tactile process of block printing, developing art that recognizes the beautiful imperfection that makes us human; the perfection that is imperfection itself.
