Back by popular demand, the Timken is once again offering its holiday art workshop, this time from the comfort of your own home, inspired by our annual Jewels of the Season installation. Grab your glass of wine and tune into our virtual live interactive class guided by Timken teaching artist Elizabeth Washburn. Our Adult Class will feature premium materials from Florence Hord and Elizabeth Schlappi’s personal collection of glittering gems, swirls of color, and elaborate choice filigree. The class is geared toward beginners and seasoned crafting professionals alike. These ornaments make excellent keepsake gifts for yourself or your loved ones!

This Adult Ornament-Kit Includes: 

  • All the information to attend the Live interactive virtual class
  • The premium Hord and Schlappi materials, which include the traditional pins and possible glass, ceramic, or even crystal beads

  • An evening of merriment!
Additional Single-Ornament-Kits are available for purchase if you're looking to make this a fun group activity, just $25 for non-members and $15 for members. Due to a recent increase in demand, we now have a limited number of kits available.

If you've never used Zoom before, no problem! We have all the steps for you to set up your free account here so you're ready for our Ornament Workshop class.

#1 To sign up for your own free account, visit and enter your preferred email address. You will receive an email from Zoom ( In this email, click Activate Account. 

#2 You can then login to your Zoom account on the web at any time, at Once you're logged in, use the panel on the left side to navigate the Zoom web portal.  You can update your profile, edit your settings, and more. 

#3 Before joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device, download the Zoom app from the Download Center. Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click a "join Zoom meeting" link.

#4 Try it out! You can join a test Zoom meeting to familiarize yourself with the Zoom and test your microphone/speakers before joining an actual Zoom meeting. Visit and click Join.
