Join the San Diego Symphony's Nuvi Mehta, for a sublime evening of music in the Timken's Central Gallery. Music & Masters: Beethoven & the Kreutzer Sonata will examine Beethoven’s times, his upbringing and character leading up to the moment he embarked on his most famous years, which include many of his most famous works, including the Kreutzer Sonata.  The Sonata was originally written for George Bridgetower, (1778-1860), a violin virtuoso who was visiting Vienna in the spring of 1803. Mehta will delight the audience with a discussion followed by a musical performance with pianist Jessie Chang.
