Don't miss this exciting opportunity to explore the Getty Center with the Timken. This travel day includes a guided tour of the highly anticipated Gustave Caillebotte: Painting Men exhibition, which offers a fresh look at the French painter’s distinctive focus on male subjects. Unlike many of his Impressionist peers, Caillebotte’s work is centered on the men in his life—his brothers, friends, fellow sportsmen, and the working class of his neighborhood. His original depictions often challenge artistic and gender norms, providing a unique view of modern masculinity for the first time in a major international exhibition.
The Getty Center, perched high above Los Angeles, is a true retreat, offering not only panoramic views of the city, stunning gardens, and world-class art collections—including masterpieces by Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and Turner—but also a peaceful setting where you can relax and recharge.
We take the stress out of travel! This travel program includes round-trip luxury coach transportation, light breakfast, a private tour of the exhibition, and a dinner box with wine for the ride home.
