Art has the power to inspire, provoke thought, spark imagination, and help us discover new meaning in our lives. It can also make us incredibly hungry. Depictions of food have been featured in famous artworks for centuries, from ancient Egyptians carving images of crops and bread on tablets to the hyper-realistic paintings of grapes by Dutch masters. This docent-led virtual talk will explore the rich relationship between food and art.
Note that you will be muted upon entry and that this talk is being recorded as well as live-streamed. Please save all questions for the end.
