In this presentation, we will continue our exploration of masterpieces from the world's great museums. In this second part, we will focus on art from the early Renaissance to the 20th century, with special attention to the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The three renowned institutions featured are among Europe's finest: the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, the National Gallery in London, and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp (KMSKA), which reopened in 2022 after an eleven-year renovation. Works by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Jean Fouquet, Peter Paul Rubens, and Johannes Vermeer will be highlighted in this docent-led virtual talk.
